Mother Nature once again completed a clean sweep of Saturday night action at the high flyin’ half mile. After morning rain, the track prep crew at Viking Speedway spent the afternoon getting the racing surface packed in for racing action. After two heats of WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, two heats of WISSOTA Street Stocks, and one heat of WISSOTA Late Models, the skies opened up the program was cancelled. The speedway will be back in action next weekend as it hosts it’s annual Memorial Day NLRA Late Model double header. Drivers from from North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Canada are expected for the event. The green flag flies at 6pm on Saturday and once again at 6pm on Sunday.
